For those people wanting to go to those schools that send out snail mail on the 1st, will you be calling the school you want to go to that day????


I've heard that some schools dont care if you call, some want you to call, and some dont want you to call. whats the dealio?

yea vcu doesn't want you to call so we just have to wait til monday to potentially get the letter...boooooooo

I keep looking around the corner and I dont see Friday. I see it at the end of the week.

I heard dont bother calling they dont want to deal with 600+ phone calls. they will call you or send you an e-mail.

I know of a couple schools that call you on Dec. 1. I know one girl that got a call at like 6:30 that morning. It woke her up but it was a call worth taking!

i think i may just call...i'm most anxious about umdnj and columbia and would much rather go into the weekend knowing than thinking about it till monday. most schools dont interview more than 200 people for the first rounds and most people prolly don't call, i doubt they would mind that much. what do you guys think. anyone know if either of those schools mind people to call. also do u think they send the letters out early or on dec 1st or just depends on the school or if they're not allowed to send the letters until dec 1st.

just curious, a couple of posts have said that the will be waiting until monday to hear something, if you are close to the school you are applying to isn't there a possibility of receiving the 'precious' on saturday?

for columbia i do not know what to do...
I heard they send it on dec 1st not by dec 1st
so i guess we have to wait until monday or tuesday...
or u might call them if u want...
but would they let u know? hahahah hope that does not annoy them and
cancel the acceptance letter headed for u

Columbia will not give out acceptance info via phone or email. They will mail the letter ON December 1.

That's what we were told.

I would give it a week after friday to give the school a call, because I'm sure a lot of other people are thinking the same thing to call on friday and might not get much, phone lines are all backed up.
