I've seen several threads regarding this year's match but none specifically on what was great about certain programs and information on individual applicants. Over in the rad onc forum, they have something similar going on by collecting info from the MS4s who just matched. I figure a lot of us future anesthesia applicants could really use this information! If you have a minute, please fill this out. Mods, if you don't mind making this a sticky that would be amazing 🙂
--Board Scores:
--AOA and class rank: if known
--Reputation of medical school: (top 10, top 25, etc)
--Research:
--Honors in clerkships:
--# and where you did away rotations:
--# of programs you applied to:
--# of interviews:
--Where matched:
--Matched at what number on rank list:
--Anything that helped your app: (ie: a phone call to a program, big-wig letter of recs, MD/PhD, other degree, SDN Forum, etc)
--Prelim year:
--Other:
1. What were your three favorite programs?
2. What did you like specifically about these programs?
3. Ultimately, what were the key factors you used in making your rank list?
If you don't feel like answering all of this just no problem at all! Any advice is appreciated 🙂
