Now what?

I thought that i would post this here instead of the financial aid forum in hopes of getting more of a response. After you get your financial aid award letter...what do you do next? I received mail from MedLOANS yesterday (sallie mae)...are we supposed to apply for our awarded stafford/perkins loans through a lender or is this done automatically by our school? Is MedLOANS a popular option?

I had to pick a lender. My school sent me a weblink that listed links to various lenders.
