i was going crazy about whether a certain program was going to give me any inkling about whether i would be nrmp'd or not; and then i discovered that their letter was just stuck in the mail. so now i feel more safe (but just in case...ocd...), i have received a letter from eras concerning scramble, additional eras applications, and find-a-resident. in essence, these backup procedures seem to be more liberal than the normal application process (like a hot gas molecule in a jar). but what is turf like outside of the "system"? if you play your cards right, and have above average creds, is it relatively easy to find a position during the scramble? what do you guys know -/experiences?
