Congratulations on everyone who matched for intern year today! Do your NRMP match results have your ophtho program on them too? I have seen it both ways, either with no ophtho program listed at all or with an ophtho program but no Program Code.

Anybody know why it's inconsistent? Do some ophtho programs notify NRMP so that there's no way those individuals can match into a conflicting advanced residency during the NRMP match?

I'm just curious how the ophthalmology programs ended up on some applicants NRMP letters. Did the programs tell NRMP who matched there? The schools?

Haha yeah, same here. I cannot envision a scenario where this would NOT be an insignificant detail.

Dude, just contact the NRMP. Why would anyone on this forum know the answer to this?
