NSF fellowship vs NIH F30 fellowship, which is more competitive?

Well, if one is to believe the NSF and NIH themselves (and if you can't trust them, who can you trust), 2014 overall F30 funding rate was 39% while the NSF GRFP overall funding rate was 14%. These numbers will vary based on institute and NSF program but it's a good baseline.
