NSU-COM students: Who do i go to for a rotation in Infectious Disease?

Hi students,

I have been having a hard time finding a physician in the Miami and Ft. Lauderdale area who specializes in Infectious Disease and accepts osteopathic medical students.
I just left a message with NSU-COM's registrar's office to find out how to set up an elective since i'm a student from PCOM.. hopefully they'll reply but not so sure.
Do any of you have recommendations of a good physician to contact for an ID rotation? Thanks in advance!

I would recommend checking with either the DME's at Broward General in Ft. Lauderale or Mount Sinai in Miami. These are two of our major training sites and they might be able to help schedule your electives.
