Hello,
I am currently looking to apply to the PA program at NSU, southwest florida at Ft. Myers. I have consistenly been tryign to get in touch wtih the admissions dean to ask questions that the person who picks up the phoen was unable to. I have also tried emailing several times but have gotten no response.
So, if anyone knows the answers to the following question, could you please respond? Thanks!
Is admission for the June 2010 matriculating class offered on a rolling basis? If so, when are interviews conducted and decisions announced?
Also, regarding the GRE, is this still a requirement if I have already received a Master's degree and have excelled in all of my classes (I have received a 4.0 each quarter thusfar)? I understand that some PA programs waive the GRE requirement if a Master's degree is already completed or if a minimum GPA has been achieved.
In terms of the required courses, how stringent is the admissions committee regarding this matter? For example, is it reasonable to still apply if I have met all except one or two of the required courses, but have also taken a couple of the "strongly recommended" courses?
Finally, how many healthcare hours are expected typically?
