Does anyone know when Nova ends its interview season? I've been complete since mid-October, have numbers well above their averages, am in-state, am not a derelict (my PS has landed me plenty of interviews) and I have heard nothing. I emailed them a while ago and they told me they could tell me nothing. Today, my webstar changed from Decision😛ending to nothing. Decision is not even on my page. I paid them 50 bucks, they could at least recognize my existence, even if it is to tell me to go jump off a cliff. Anyone else?

My webstar changed to nothing today also, but I have already interviewed.

Thats not as bad as mine changing from " Provisionally accepted" to "Aternate list" after last weekend....

Yep, decision pending was deleted (pre-interview). I think i check the lovely webstar on a daily basis and i swear everyday opens something new for me. At times my phone number disappears and then reappears.

Its weird that you would get an interview at a school like UAB ( which is a very good school and relatively selective) but Nova wont give you one.

Good luck with it. To be honest, I wasnt that impressed with Nova when I was there, so maybe you arent missing much.

Don't put too much weight on what webstar says. I am accepted since Nov. and mine changed to contact admissions office after being three other things.

I have interviewed and my account has also switched from contact admissions office.......to a mission status................to the whole application disappearing too. I have no idea what is going on. But it is scary!!! 🙁

Probably a problem with their database. But some human contact would be nice! I'm not really all that interested in going to school there, but the fact that I paid them good money and they are ignoring me or giving me non-answers just peeves me. School administrators should realize that the admissions office is the first and sometimes only contact a potential student has with their program, and hire enough good people to put out the image they wish to project. Nova misses the boat on this (as do many other schools, so I'm not singling them out, but jeesh. Numbers well above their averages, in-state, complete for over 4 months. At least give me a polite "no thank you".)

I called them on the phone a week ago to check to make sure I was complete, and I was passed around to three different people and finally to a voice recording telling me to call another number. I called that number and got a voice mail box. The voice mail box was full, so I couldn't even leave a message.

If you email them, you'll get a form-style reply saying it's against their policy to give any info out, and to stop bothering them already, if they like you they'll interview you. 🙂

My status changed yesterday, too. Since I actually had some time off from work today, I decided to make some telephone calls to schools for status checks. One was to NSU. The lady who answered the phone there said that my application was still under review, but that *their last day of interviews was TODAY.* 😱 Nice of them to tell US this, no? She said there's a chance that the ADCOMS may decide to add more interview days, but that they haven't yet. She said that the next step is for them to review the rest of us and then let us know if they'll be any more interviews offered. She didn't sound hopeful, though.

Needless to say, is it just me, or is this kind of treatment by a school just plain rude? Couldn't they mention the last day of interviews on their site so that we can decide whether or not to pay them the extra $ to be considered? Argh. I so hate this application process.... 😡

The same here (the admissions later NEVER answers the phone or return calls). My pending has disappeared, as well.

just heard from Nova today. I have the choice of 24th, 27th, or 31st of march and Apr 3rd.

(Hmmm, lesse I will be in the air on the way to KCUMB on the 3rd so that's out. I have tests on the 23rd and 24th. So that leaves 27th and 31st. Well, I live in Indy, so finding flights on the 31st could be a problem as the Final Four will be in town., plus it's spring break time and all the airfare and hotels in FT. Laud. are jacked through the roof. Anyone have an extra $400???)
