Did anyone here from NSU friday or today about their reviews on 10/16? I thought they were supposed to call us? Thanks.

I am also waiting to hear from NSU and I have not heard from them at all today. Delia told us that she would call us on Monday since they had an AOA meeting in Las Vegas last week, but I am still waiting. If we don't get the call today, do you think we will tomorrow?

I just spoke with Delia and she said that the dean was not able to meet because of the AOA convention. She said that they are meeting some time today or tomorrow and she will call us once everything is complete, but she didnt say exactly when.
 
Apparently their computers are down and they don't know when they'll be back up...

Thank you so much!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is my top choice!!!!!!!!!!! Now I don't have to go on my last 3 interviews - lots of money saved on that!!!!!!!! I'm going to be a doctor!!!!!!!!

congrats guys- if everything goes as plan, i will be in your graduating class (Class of 2011). see you at orientation!
as for hopefulkellido, be patient- delia gets lost in her work a lot of times. i would call and speak with linda ferris (my favorite point person) and she will tell you if delia is there or not (able to speak to you or not). if not, leave her a message- delia is good at calling back.
as far as the offer package, it will arrive later. delia has to present the letters to the dean and the vice chancellor for them to sign (to make it official) so.... be patient, it'll come!

Weird... I talked to Delia around 3:30 today, and she said that no one would be called until they met with the dean tomorrow. I asked if she would be making calls tomorrow, and she said that she is running an interview tomorrow and has 40 calls to make, so it will most likely be Tuesday or Wednesday. Not sure what this means....but worried :scared:
 
...and I got my call very late in their work day - 4:15pm. she prob just found a little itme at the end of her day to call a small number of the interviewees. Keep that head up!

yea- delia is very proactive in the interview process; she's an essential part of it, although, we met with her only for 15 mins to half hour. despite, i think she coordinates the whole day. like i said, if you cant get touch with delia, try and get in touch with linda ferris.
guys, relax- if it's yours, it will be yours!! 😎

there were 40+ people at the interview?
 
quick question...I was at work today and found NSU left me a message saying that they had the results of my interview and would like to speak to me about it. I wasnt able to get back to them before the end of the day...does anyone know if they only call acceptances or if they also call rejections??...i know ill find out tomorrow but the anticipation sucks. thx

Blah. I heard 10/9 and haven't gotten my package yet. I hope one of those packages are mine.

No, the adcoms convene every other week. So 40+ total in those two weeks.

I didn't call and ask since the last group had to wait awhile to get theirs. I think it's by certified mail too, so I should be receiving a little piece of paper. I'm calling tomorrow.

Also I have not received my acceptance packet yet either Hemadoc, I was also called on 10/9

I interviewed 10-12, and just finally had time to write my thank you letters tonight. I will be next-day mailing them tomorrow. Do they expect their arrival before they make a decision, or is it ok that they are a little late? Did I goof up on "interview etiquette?" And do I just send them where everything else got sent?

I didnt send any. I figure they would just throw them away the second they got them. Plus, they have already made their decisions, so I would calm down. No harm, no foul.
 
Hey everyone, congrats to all acceptances!!! How long did you guys have to wait from the time you were complete to when you heard about interviews? just curious, congrats again! NOVA is fabulous:laugh:

hello pguin- they wont call you unless they are offering you a seat, at least that's what i understand.
 
I thought they would call you no matter what....


anyone from 10/5 heard from NSU yet???
