Congrats, to all of you that will be attending NSU. I take my MCAT April 16, and I plan to apply when the application process starts in June. Right now, my GPA is a 3.5. I was wondering what advise can any one offer me. NSU and UM (I stay in Miami), are the two schools that are high on my list. Any information that can be given will be great. Thanks in advance.

For NSU, you should be fine as long as you do decent on your MCAT. NSU loves experience and students that are dedicated, especially to osteopathic medicine. Also, in an interview they can pick up on a bad attitude quick, so make sure that you state your qualities and why you are good for them, but remember to be humble.

As far as UM is concerned, you need to do AWESOME on your MCAT to get in there. The fact that you are applying early (I assume you want to get in in 2006) is a good thing, that will definately help you, but they are HUGE on MCAT scores..I would say you need at least a 30 with your GPA to get in there. Also, check out their facilities, they are not nearly as nice as NSU's...as a matter of fact, you cannot beat NSU's facilities...they are the best!!!
