OK, so I interviewed at NSU 11/12, and during my interview, the interviewers emphasized that they are NOT part of the admissions committee and will only advocate for us after getting to know us in our interview. So I'm curious, does this mean that the interview doesn't play a large role in our acceptance? Does it work like....ok the admissions committee reviewed your statistics and saw that you are a qualified applicant and make a pre-decision, and then the interviewers either give a thumbs up or down? Or is it more along the line of a full integration of both the application and interview? I was just confused because no other school I interviewed at really stressed this point. I'm at a 3.3 gpa and 27 MCAT, florida resident. I had an awesome interview, so I hope it strengthens my chances.
