I JUST got my letter of rec. from a DO even thought my application has been done there for the past 3 weeks...so I hope when they get that I might be offered an interview! 😕

NSUCOM interviews potential applicant before the letters arrived, so I was granted an interview. Keeping in mind, I have 3.83 Scinece GPA and 3.77 cummulative GPA, and 28N MCAT score. 😀
All my stuff must have gotten to them now. they sent me an email saying they recieved my letters of recommendaton. I hope i hear from them soon!!!

Nobody should be worrying too much about getting an interview right now. I got an interview from NOVA after sending my secondary in during February. My stats are nothing outstanding, average if not below. I really would have liked to go to NOVA for school; however, I would have had a tough time not spending all my time outside and wakeboarding...coming from the upper-midwest...going to school there would have felt too much like a vacation 😉

I hope i hear from them this week about an interview!!! im just dying when i check my email. Apparently the recieved all my things as of Aug 9th.
I CALLED NSU this morning b/c everytime I check that WEBSTAR thing its says outstanding items-application not complete so I called to fin out whats up and she said they recieved everything my application was still being processed and once that is iver they will decide on calling for interviews which start on Monday Sept 11th she mentioned.

I got DMU Interview on the same day, so I rescheduled my interview for October. DMU is my number one choice
Hi everyone, I also received an interview at NSU and I have the choice of going on 9/11 or 9/15. The 11th is a Monday and the 15th is a Friday. Does anyone have any idea if it's better to go earlier in the week or later. (I expect to hear some silly comments fo sho' (sorry just saw the a rerun of the 40 yr. old virgin this past weekend), but if anyone has any serious thoughts or past experience with this please let me know). This is my FIRST interview in 3 years of applications so I'm ecstatic!

I also received the invite, although I haven't decided which day to go yet. I'm leaning more towards 9/15, because I could schedule my interview at Touro-Nevada for 9/18. But then I'll have to miss two days worth of classes, where I have four classes for each of those days. I'm thinking that is the easiest path. Hopefully all of my professors will be understanding, and that I can keep up in class.

so after some quick thoughts I scheduled mine for the 15th as well. This will be my first interview so I could probably use the few extra days for preparation. miasapearl, congrats on your multiple interview invites... I am hoping that I will be in your shoes when my LOR's are sent out. Let's hope!

For nova, do they email/mail you a rejection letter if they don't decide to interview? Or do they hold off a really long time as possible and send you a rejection at the end of fall 2007 admissions cycle (like may 2007)? They received all my stuff (including secondary) appx. a week ago and I am getting worried after hearing those that recieved interviews.... :-(

I just received an interview invite to NOVA. I'm going to try to make it on the 11th.

I ended up going to CCOM...being from the Midwest, I feared that NOVA would feel too much like a vacation and I wouldn't study as much as I should

so all those of you who got interviews I got a question~!
My WEBSTAR application status went from Incomplete to Please contact admissions office today. Yesterday i spoke with someone and she said my file was complete. but the university was still reviewing my file materials.
anyone else went to please contact admissions office?

Mine still says please contact admissions. It doesn't really mean anything. I called them yesterday and they said that they will contact you if something is wrong, otherwise, webstar's status page isn't accurate.

i remember when i applied..i paid very little attention to the webstar page...its not very informative..Just be patient..and wait for the email invite for interview ...i know iknow easier said than done

For those of you who got interviews so far...what were ur stats if u don't mind...mine were 23/3.5 overall/3.2 sci/3.9non sci. I haven't recieved an interview yet and i was in the 7/22 mailing but all my stuff reached there last week.

hey vmgopal, did your webstar say decision pending before it said Please Contact Admissions Office. Because mine went from Incomplete to Decision Pending and its been like that for the past 2 days. My secondary was submitted on 08/01/2006 and my committe letter was sent yesterday. I'm pretty sure they have my letter by now since I attend Nova's undergrad.
I think you'll be fine ...My stats were comparable to yours...slightly higher mcat..slightly lower gpa..and you applied earlier than me...i interviewed in mid november...just rock the interview..and you'll be fine..check out the interview feedback section of SDN it was dead on when i interviewed

Hey guys...Just giving you a heads up...I received my interview packet in the mail yesterday so everyone who chose a 9/11 - 9/15 interview should be expecting theirs. Thats all
