Just wanted to start the thread. Doing Nuc board this November. 80 hour physics is most useful and useless thing at the same time. Should have made it 10 hours and people would have actually watch it!

What everyone is using for prep???

now you are getting it. nuclear is easy to read and in my experience a minority of jobs actually care about it. I am glad I didn't take it.

Yeah, I did. Now have to wait for the results for 2 months. What a waste
How was the exam? Any tips? Do you think the BoardVitals question bank helps make the exam more comfortable, or are the ASNC questions/videos and Jaber questions enough? All the best

What about the Nuclear Boards 30 practice test? Is it similar to the exam in terms of difficulty level?

this year we get the scores back right after or do we have to wait 2 months for pass/fail as well as detailed score?

Nuclear Cardiology Boards Examination completed. Overall, the exam is doable with effort. Focus on resources like the ASNC videos, questions, Jaber Assessment, and the CBNC practice test. These should be more than enough if you can grasp the content well. All the best!

Note: This year, the results will be available about 60 days after the examination window closes on 12/27/2024. We can expect the results on or before February 28, 2025.

SO, should we be expecting results next week??🤔 In 2022 they were released around Feb 16

Hopefully, they might release the results either in the early third week or the fourth week of February (around the 19th or 26th, hopefully on Wednesday). I think the results were shown instantly after the test in 2021 and 2023. Based on your information, it seems that in 2022, they released the results after 8 weeks. Who knows if they'll suddenly release it today, February 5th, or next Wednesday, February 12th? 😊🙂 Good luck guys 👍

I thought exam was harder than I was expecting, used ASNC vids, Jaber, and board vitals Qs. Felt pretty crappy coming out tbh. Was a little suprising as passed echo boards (didnt do amazing but not skating by either).

Yeah I felt same after nuc, I thought is going to be easier, but I had a lot of questions I was just not sure about. Felts same after ECHO but did actually good on it. But this NUC exam, I'm just not sure 😱 Hopefully we get results next week.

What score did you guys get on the 30 practice tests for the Nuclear Boards?

For me, the actual real exam was doable (not easy), but I definitely wouldn’t recommend taking it lightly. If you use standard resources and 2 months time (Initiate prep 2 months before but serious prep of 1 month is adequate), you'll be well-prepared, but it's not a walk in the park. It's definitely doable, though. I am 100% confident about passing my nuclear cardiology boards, just like I felt after my echo boards. Good luck!

Edit: Update on preparation time: It took me about 1 month, but I recommend allowing at least 2 months to start preparing, with around 30 to 60 minutes a day to get used to it. However, serious preparation for 1 month with 2-3 hours per day should be sufficient

Update: The results are expected to be released approximately in the first week of March 2025. Personally, I believe they will be released sometime between February 24 and March 7, with the most likely date being between February 24 and 28.

Did you reach out to them or just guesstimating? I hope its gonna be this week 🙂) Just get it over with :0

When contacted the boards, my friend received confirmation that the results are expected to be released in the first week of March. Based on my estimation, I believe it will be sometime between late February and early March, but they have specifically mentioned results are expected to be released approximately in the first week of March 2025. You may also contact them for confirmation. Good luck, and hope we all clear this exam. 👍 🙂

Hi all. I been peripherally following this thread. Agree that test was not as easy as it was portrayed to me by many people. Anxious about the results. For what it’s worth, I checked my APCA account today and the Result section which was initially “pending” has disappeared. Hoping to see the results soon. 🤞🏼

Yes, on the main page of my APCA account, the results appeared as pending until this morning, but now they have disappeared. However, when you click on the APPLICATION CENTER and select 'My CBCCT/CBCMR/CBNC,' you can still see the exam date and the status as 'Results pending.' Hopefully, they will be released today, Wednesday. However, according to the board's email, they mentioned that the expected release date is approximately the first week of March, though they could always release them earlier than the estimated date.

I agree, the exam is definitely not a cakewalk, but it's doable with one month of serious preparation. All the best!

60 days have passed since the last date of the examination. Now, the countdown has begun. All the best, everyone!

Its just crazy that it takes thhaaattt Loooong 🙂 to get the results out 😡

Some of you, please email or call CBNC and ask for any updates regarding the results. When contacted, they stated that the results will be released next week (the first week of March). However, this will be approximately 70 days after the completion of the examination window, and we have already passed 60 full days since the window closed. We may receive the results this week if they finish their work ahead of schedule. I assume the evaluation might be complete, but they could still be verifying other parameters to ensure everything is correct. Still, more than 60 days is definitely too long. The waiting process is quite challenging🙂

I called today and APCA said scores will be released Tuesday, March 4th.
Thanks for confirming again. As mentioned earlier, my friends and I received the same information from the board two weeks ago regarding the results, which are expected in the first week of March. Now two more days to go... 👍

PASSED. Time: March 4, 2025, 3:45 AM EST. On Home page under APPLICATION CENTER when you select 'My CBCCT/CBCMR/CBNC the results still show as pending, but you can find them indirectly via status letter. To do so, go to 'My Resources' and click on 'Status Verification,' where you will find the option to print the status verification letter:

This letter serves as verification that the above-named individual passed the board examination in nuclear cardiology
given by the Certification Board of Nuclear Cardiology (CBNC) but has not converted to Diplomate status. He/she is a
Testamur of CBNC.

Credential CBNC Certification
Status: Testamur
Awarded N/A
Must convert to Diplomate status by 12/31/2030

For the scaled score report, we still need to wait for it to be released in the morning. All the best, everyone!
