just need some clarification:

the bond between the 5' sugar (deoxyribose or ribose) and the phosphates; just want to make sure that's called a phosphoester bond right? please take note i'm not talking about oligonucleotides just a lone nucleotide with phostphates attached

p.s anyone out there reading this please confirm for me that 30*10^-3 meters = 3 centimeters

TPR bio pg 64 states that 30x10^-3 meters = 30 millimeters......questioning my sanity please tell me that's a misprint and that i'm right

Yes. The bond between the O on the phosphate, and the CH2 of the pentose sugar is a phosphodiester bond (um not phosphoester, btw).

lol for your second question 30 x 10^-3 m = 0.03 m = 3 cm = 30 mm....so you are both right! 😀
