I'm considering applying to NUI Galway (to their 5 year program) as an international student (from the US) but I couldn't find very much info on NUI Galway on the forums (perhaps because they're located in a smaller city so attracts less international students?).
I was hoping that some current international students or recent alumni can share their experiences, both good and bad.
Is the workload bearable? Are you able to work part time at all while in med school? Are the faculty supportive and available to help? Are students nice to each other? How's the teaching? Have you done any clerkships yet, and if so, what have you liked and disliked so far?
I apologize for asking so many questions, but I didn't want to move halfway across the country for 5 years to find that it doesn't fit me.
Thanks in advance!!!
