Do you all ever look at the number of views certain threads get? That current official 2010 interview thread has received almost 25,000 views.

I gotta think that people hotlink from Google and whatnot after entering search terms, because I can't believe that that many different IPs prowl this forum.

I always assumed the hits were independent of the actual IP, otherwise Blade would only count for one hit even though he posts like 30 times per clinical thread.

That would explain the number of hits for that thread, as I'm sure the same 300 people check that thread 5 times a day to see which program are sending invites.

Good point. Usually 600-700 hits, on average, on one of his threads.

Perhaps 75 total posts (2/3 of which are his).

Probably roughly 50 different people total who actually clicked-on and and maybe skimmed the thread.

Possibly 3 people who actually read most of what's written there.

And, finally, only 1 person who truly read everything - BladeMDA... and even that is unlikely.

The 2010 interview thread is now above 31,000 hits. 😱
