Number of IM Interview Invitations to Expect in Oct

How many interview invitations should I expect by the start of Oct, mid-Oct, late-Oct for an average IM candidate? I applied to 30 programs.

All depends on where you applied (middle of the country vs. coasts) and the mix of programs (top tier vs. mid-tier vs. community). Top tier Midwest/Southern programs likely have most of their invites on the table already. Top tier East/West coast are just starting. As long as you hit the ~10 interviews total at some point there shouldn't be much else to worry about for an average US applicant.
