As of now I have been invited to
4 interviews. Am I in good shape or should I be worried? I just got rejected to my favorite school today and am worried 🙁

Thanks @Goro . Around how many interviews does an average applicant usually need to get an acceptance?

Really? What makes you think that?
Check out the " I have no interviews" thread in pre-allo. Plus a ton of my friends are shipping off to Ross in the Caribbean this spring since they have zero II. Also a few people Ive met on the interview trail told me that that's their only interview and theyre hoping for more. Its real out here...

Plenty of people get 3, 4, 5 II's and can't convert any of them to an acceptance for whatever reason. You should continue operating under the assumption that you will need to reapply next year until you're holding an acceptance in hand, IMO.

over 60% of matriculating student were invited to 3 interviews or less. About 20% had a single interview. Just under half of all matriculating students recieved a single acceptance to medical school.
Thanks! I'm curious as to where you found that data.
