I find it interesting although I don't know what it means, if anything. Example BWH only interviews 250 for 70 positions where as MGH interviews 450 for 66 positions. Also UCSF only interviews 225 for 60 positions and Duke 400 interviews for 54 positions. I can't see any pattern unless the programs with low IV numbers are relying mostly on you app and less on interview.

The program director at a University program in the Southwest said during my interview day that they usually interview about 10 applicants per IM spot. I think I remember him implying that that was a pretty common number.

He also said that sometimes the program may only go to about number 50 on their ROL, and sometimes it's around 150 depending on the vagaries of that year's Match.

10 interviewees per spot is basically industry standard. USCF and B&W don't need to interview as many, you're going to rank them highly if you interview there.

Where did you get this info from?

Duke has a year a few years back where they had unmatched spots, so they may have increased their number of interviews after that.
I'm surprised that IM programs interview 10 per spot...that's a LOT...I would have guessed maybe 5 or 6 per spot. Must be tiring for them...

Since applicants each tend to rank 10 programs, each program needs to interview 10 people per spot. All programs have had experience with the scramble, and don't want to repeat. It's better to interview more than necessary then end up short and in the scramble.
