I am thinking 23-25 programs. Little above average USMLE, Strong COMLEX, DO student, OK grades, Good work Experience, LOR 3 good letters cards, ortho, internal med, NO Gas letter Yet(wont be in until early Nov hopefully).

Do you think this will be enough. Good mix of competitiveness mostly midwest, couple in florida and out east.

Thanks

I have similar stats and my opinion on the matter is it is better to apply too many than too few. In addition, you can always turn down interview offers later. A program director said one should shoot for 10-15 interviews because they were anticipating a record number of applicants thsi year. Whether or not this is true, I don't know. Hope this helps. Good luck in the application process and match. See you on the interview trail!

Sounds to me like you should be fine. I applied to 35 programs. If you are interested, see my other posts.
Good luck!
