There has been no consultation with the very people who will be affected by this radical proposal. How would you feel about the prospect of being operated on by a competent nurse, rather than an experienced surgeon?"

When will the ASA write a piece entitled: "CRNAs have better things to do than lobby to perform an anesthetic without Anesthesiologist Supervision"?
