interviewed....

I asked about the NWT-seems cool but they are still setting up the clinical rotations. In fact, I asked if I could choose to do rotations in Oregon, etc if I did not want to do them in LA and they said it may be possible even though I am a CO resident and not in the NWT. Seems like a cool deal....I guess you go to portland oregon for the clinical parts when other western students are required to come back to the western campus during rotations. I was interested in doing the rotations up there as it fits my lifestyle and geographic prefferences better-I have taught ski racing on mt.hood glacier and lived in wyoming for a length of time.
I dont have the hospitals in front of me that they have lined up for the NWT track but I am sure that it is online

I am accepted into the NW track. Dirk, probably the guy you emailed, is the best one to talk with. The most info I received was from him. However, it was pretty general. I do know that when choosing clinical "tracks" for 3rd and 4th years in the pacific NW...meaning Portland/seattle (and some rural areas in both states), it is done by class rank of all the 30 students in the NW track. I guess that kind of bothered me a little as I would really like to be based mostly in Portland. I guess I will need to rank higher if my preferences are so strong.
