Hi, I started doing some preliminary research about different anesthesia programs and came across the fact that NY Methodist is on probation. my question is does anyone know the reason they were placed on probation? what could be some of the reasons that a program could be placed on probation for? Did their students just not perform well on the intern exams? Did they break some kind of rules by over working their residence? Also what are the chances that a program that's on probation gets shut down? Has anyone heard of that happening before?
