For some things, you would be right.

For this, it goes completely against my code of ethics. I am as sure that I would never kill a child for such selfish reasons as I am that I would never rape a woman for fun.

I was responding to someone who said that I could not personally be sure of how I would act in that situation.

I am pro-choice and have no ethical issues with higher order reduction to protect the health of the mother and the remaining fetuses but not below twins. I am also a mother of twins and have been sitting here crying for the last 15 minutes.

+1. I just find this odd. I don't know... I don't think any infertility sufferer I've ever e-known, even in passing (of which there are many, on other boards I post on) would ever abort a twin if they managed to conceive two babies at once, and most of them didn't/haven't spent as long (or as much money, I'm sure) trying to get pregnant as this woman did.
