Does anyone here have some info on the best test center here in the NYC tri state area?

I took my DAT a few weeks ago at the 42nd/43rd Street test center. I was sceduled for 5 PM but I got there at 4 just to make sure I found exactly where it was, and they started me at like 4 15. The test center was clean. A lot of people were taking exams at that time, and it was on the 10th floor. Because I took it later I was taking it during the middle of rush hour so you could hear street noise, but they provide you with ear plugs. Also, I think they turned the AC down b/c midway thorugh my test the center was hot. However, if you're used to studying in NYC the street noise isn't any different then usual. Also I asked them if you could touch the screen and they said you could. I don't know if any of this helps at all.

Best and GOOD LUCK

How did touching the screen help you? Did they let you use paper to figure out the hole punching section ?

I actually didn't end up really touching the screen other than to maybe help keep my place during reading comp. When you take the test they give you a blue booklet of paper, so when you put it up to the screen you can't trace b/c you can't see through it. I suppose you cuold use the paper for the whole punching section. I think there were about 3 peices of paper...if you need more you need to leave the testing center and go to the desk to get more.
