Hi all, I'm looking to do an elective in Manhattan late this year. I'm not applying to rads but wanted to get some exposure.

Looking for something very cush 😎, since it'll be during the interview season. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Merhaba... sorry I can't help you, but welcome to the radiology forum!

I applied and matched into radiology. I did away rotation last year at NYU and greatly enjoyed it. Two of the students that did thier away rotation with me were applying to different specialties!

Try Cornell or Columbia -- usually I heard alot of med students rotate through there. Also good exposure. NYU as mentioned also is a great place to learn.

If you can make it out to the suburbs, LIJ and North Shore are also great.

Sorry to ressurect this thread from the dead 😀

But any one else have thoughts on a good rads elective in NYC?

Particularly, I'd like to go someplace where I can get a good LOR from (preferably) someone well known.

Any one ever been at Beth Israel (Manhattan), St. Luke's or NYU? Thanks!
Eye.
