I am a Columbia student moving out of my room in a 2 bed/1 bath a few blocks from the main Columbia campus. I need someone to take the room at least until my share of the lease is up (March 1-April 30, dates slightly flexible). I will throw in free wifi/utilities for March and April. If you are coming to the area longer-term you would be welcome to stay on after that with my current roommate, who is going to renew the lease on her own. She's a 30 year old professional female and a delight to live with.
We share the common space, which has a couch, TV, extra storage space, and a recently updated kitchen. You'd be welcome to cook, hang out, etc. and will have half the kitchen cabinet space to keep your stuff.
We are a block from the subway and bus, easy access to Columbia and the rest of Manhattan. The area is really safe and near plenty of grocery stores, banks, a public library, a gym, Riverside Park, etc.
