Hi everyone, I'm an ECFMG certified phyisicnain, don with my step 3 as well, applied just a couple fo days ago for NYCOM, i just want to know what are my chances of getting an interview there, and if id did, what are the general chances of an immigrant physician joining this program, like what are the parameters they are using to choose their applicants interviews?
Please answer, this is my only hope.\
 
yes i heard there will be physical exam test like usmle step-3. do not know if it is true. if anyone have any info. can you please kindly forward me at my e-mail. [email protected]

Hi Guys, I received an interview invitation for December 6th. Has anyone received interview invites for the same date? Also would the entrance exam be conducted on the same day or scheduled for a later date? Would appreciate any reply !

Hey guys I would much appreciate if anyone can provide some insight as to the interview process. I have my interview this Friday and I am really worried. I hoping that someone who had their interview process could enlighten the future students on the content of the interview. In addition reading from the earlier threads I received mixed messages as to what I need to look over (ex. step 1 material, or clinical exam material, etc). I would much appreciate if anyone can clarify if reviewing any particular topic was helpful in their particular interview. Thanks.

Sorry that i am unable to help you, but as soon as i find out anything from anyone i will let you know. I think that in the previous years, they had written exams on basic sciences, but that may have changed.

Hello Target 240,

Have you by chance received any form of reply from the school following your interview. I did mine in November, and still awaiting decision.

I did mine also in November, and still awaiting decision. Did you by chance get the email for Background check.
 
I applied last year and received a call in march but this year still waiting anybody knows what is the criteria for selection this year?
