i'm starting at NYCOM this fall and am wondering about housing. i am thinking that i would like to live in brooklyn or queens (I have roommates lined up, family close by, etc). any current NYCOMers that could give suggestions/advice about living relatively far from campus?

There is a lot about this in the NYCOM 2012 thread in the osteo class forum. Read there, and you'll get a lot of different opinions.
