Hey all.

Any March NYCOM interview-ee's get in yet? I've heard some people have recieved waitlist letters in the past week or so, but any straight out acceptances?

I'm going crazy waiting!

I interviewed on 3/29 and haven't gotten a response yet. Im thinking tomorrow or by the end of the week at latest. I called the office last week and they told me that Easter weekend may have slowed things down. They are known to take 3-4 weeks. So, thats now!

I'm sure you're right. Also, NYCOM was on spring break that following week, so I am sure the admins were off also.

I just hate waiting!! And I'm sure the mailman thinks I'm slightly insane.

NYCOM was on spring break between Apr 2nd and the 6th right? Oh well...at least the weather has been really nice these last few days. It's a nice distraction from the worrying 🙂

I called Taryn Croot earlier today and left a message to see if she got my email with a letter of intent in it. She hasnt called back yet. Lets keep hoping!

Today marks 4 weeks since my interview and still no word...

Just tryin' to keep hope alive!

I called the other day and was told that they are still holding on to/deciding on a few apps from March. Not sure what that means

I believe that they interviewed until April 12th, but I don't want to wait another 2 whole weeks to get re-reviewed with those folks.

didn't realize they only interviewed until april 12th! I could have sworn they told me they were going till May 15th or so🙁

A friend who interviewed on 4/12 was told that was the last day of interviews!

At this point, even a waitlist letter would be better than nothing. 😱 I am dying just sitting here in limbo

I called today. They still haven't made a decision on my app. Interviewed 3/28. They said that it may take 6 weeks.

It might be worthwhile to call them still. I didn't get a chance to ask them how full the class was.

I tried to ask when the next adcom meeting was, and she told me when they decide they'll mail me. I was kind of hoping to find out an exact date 🙂

ARGHH...everytime I see this post in bold I get the giddy feeling that someone got some good news.

This Wednesday marks 6 weeks, ahhhhhhh.

Called again today:

No decision yet. Today is officially week 6 and "decisions will be mailed soon".

I also asked how full the class was, but was told that they couldn't give out that information.

arghhh! i always get excited, and then think, EW jp posted he got accepted before PM-ing me?! hahaha.

i got an IM from someone the other day from SDN....but it got closed out. just wanted to say i'm not in med prep...i'm still waiting to hear. sorry i didn't message back.

I think this is our week! I have decided not to call NYCOM this week so as to maintain that sense of dread and excitement when I check the mailbox after work each day 😍

I got response this week; my interview was on March 29th.

I have been put on waitlist.
