im currently an M1 at pcom, and i can tell you that i'm really happy there. the teachers are all really great, and pcom students have a really good reputation in hospitals all over the area. i really dont know anything about nycom except that they're in an area with lots of traffic, and that they have a big class size. but you should be aware that pcom' class size is really big too. at the start of this year we had 279 people. it seems really crowded at first, but after a few months, i dont notice so much. the good thing about a big class is that there are a lot of different types of people, and your bound to meet people you have things in common with. you have the type As that are super competitive and have panic attacks over every exam, you have the people that go out to bars 3-4 times a week, and you have everything in between. anyway, i need to get back to studying for our anatomy final, but if you have any specific questions about pcom feel free to PM me, i'll have more time to answer after thursday. congratulations on getting in.
