Those who were granted interviews, Did you guys actually print on the secondary sheet or did you submit a new page...there is such little room to write on the given sheet. Im thinking that its not a good idea to write on a seperate page in fear that they will think that I dont follow instructions! Thanks everyone!

I didn't think that there was enough space to answer the questions either. So, I typed most of my responses on another sheet and put "see attached sheets" on the NYCOM secondary response lines. I don't believe that the adcoms would think that you couldn't follow directions. Hope this helps. 😉

I also typed mine but i used only the space that was allowed for each question. I think that they wanted a brief, concise answer for each....and hey...it could be a test to see if you follow instruction???

how long did it take for them to give you an interview and secondary?

Chrisobean,

My AACOMAS was sent out in Sept and I received my interview invitation with the secondary on 11/26...interviewed the week b4 x'mas .🙂

To the OP,

Like monalisa, I tried to keep the answers concise as well. However, I put most of my responses (ie employment, extracurricular, volunteer position listings) in a table form. I just wanted to keep it neat and easy to navigate through. As for the question about why I chose to apply to NYCOM, I restricted my response to the approximate space allotted on the original form.

To Chrisobean,

My AACOMAS was in by July and I got the interview invitation in November.

I typed my responses in the spaces provided.... I didn't see anybody from my interview section attach additional sheets. Most interviewees also did not type the secondary application.
