Which one is a better school: NYCOM or WESTERN/COMP?
I think it depends where do u want to live...
But suppose you don't care where you live...
Which would you choose?
Maybe u can compare residency match lists for the last year? I wanted to stay in NY and NYCOM gave very good vibe, so i picked NYCOM...whats important for you when choosing the school? Where u feel better?
go where you think you would feel most comfortble, 4 years is a long time.
Does anyone feel that one school is better than the other? Reasons?
Also, does anyone know where I can find recent COMLEX passage statistics?
I don't know anything about Western Comp, but NYCOM does leave a lot to be desired. The Dean is pretty much trying to change a lot of things and swears its going to be good but who knows. Also with the new system based approach the second yrs are going to be the first people to take the boards under this system and hopefully they'll do good. That being said really take into account where u'll be happy living for 4 yrs b/c thats huge, and if Western Comp has better stats then NYCOM go there
