where are you flying in? Where are you staying? Where are you from?

I'm flying in to La Guardia. I don't know where I'll be staying yet. They gave me a list of hotels with all these directions that I just don't understand. I've never been to NY, so I'm not familiar with the subway system. I'm from Texas. 🙂 So, it will be a little overwhelming. I'm trying to get info on a student host. Any suggestions?
