Hello everyone, I have my interview with NYCOM coming up pretty soon. I live in Queens and don't have a car so I either have to take a cab in the morning for an hour or stay in a hotel overnight. How are you guys planning on getting there?

Thanks.

Taking a cab is fine just plan for traffic.

With the cost of a cab for an hour drive, it might be cheaper to stay at a hotel the night before and uber it the morning of.

Based on my time in NYC, I second what @redrocks39 said. You can find a pretty good hotel deal or airbnb and then uber in the AM before the interview. That may be a little more expensive, overall, but much safer of a bet in terms of being there on time, stress free and ready to go.

I took the LIRR and then a bus there on the morning of and it was fine, you might have to wake up a bit early maybe 6 or 7.
