NYIT vs Campbell

I am very grateful to have been accepted to 4 DO schools so far (I have already eliminated LMU-DCOM and Nova). I am shooting for MD ultimately and have had one interview so far that I am waiting to hear back from. However, with the Dec 14th DO deadline approaching, I want to be prepared to put a deposit down in the event
don't hear back prior/don't get in:

NYIT (Long Island)

Pros

• Closest to home (from New England)
• Want to end up in New England in the long term, would be easier to secure a residency up north
• Great Reputation

Cons

• High tuition cost ( $66K )
• High cost of living on Long Island

Campbell

Pros

• Also has a good reputation
• Lower tuition cost ( $60K )
• Lower cost of living

Cons

• In a more undesirable location that is farther from home

So ultimately this is coming down to cost. I think I would prefer NYIT, but I'm not sure if that would be a poor financial decision.

Cost difference in tuition is marginal. If there's a large difference in cost of living, that would be good to know.
