Does anyone know how competitive the nyit b.s/d.o program is??

Yea less than half the kids in the program make it to NYCOM at the end of the three years

I got accepted to this program...it's not very competitive and they accept a lot of people if they have decent scores/gpa...but yeah horrible passing rate...which is why I didn't go here....

Btw they are moving the program to SUNY Old Westbury now. Next year is the last year they are accepting kids into the program at NYIT, then it moves to SUNY OW.

Also, the passing rate is the students' own fault. They cheat/slack off through 3 years of undergrad so they don't have high enough GPAs and then when the MCATs roll around they can't cheat on that so they don't get the needed score. If your one of those kids who studies and does the work, its not a bad program.
