what does "evaluator title" mean? I only know that the faculty I got letters from are "Dr. Blah Blah". I don't really know if they are associate prof or assistant, etc. So, can I just write "professor" for all even though they may be associate prof? I really don't know how to find out.

Does your school have a faculty directory? If not, does whatever department your letter writer is in have a webpage with a listing of faculty? I either got the titles of my evaluators from their department's faculty page or from their signatures at the bottom of their emails.

I'm not sure if it would matter but in the academic world, there is a big difference in the "rank" of faculty as being associate, assistant, or full professors. Sadly, recommendations coming from full professors tend to have more weight at some schools.

hey, so I emailed NYMC and they responded by saying that I can write "Professor" for all authors that have simply taught me in a class. I guess that includes professors, associates, etc.! So, that was easy.
