I flew into Westchester County Airport (HPN). And then I took a taxi to NYMC. It cost like $20 or $30. Why can't you stay with a student host? The dorms are right near the Admissions Office, so you won't have to worry about transportation in the morning....

Like another poster said, you can stay with a student, but a lot of people need their own space to feel mentally prepared. The cheapest and closest hotel is the Wellesly Inn. Its $99 plus tax if you tell them you are with NYMC.

Yup, that's where I stayed. Its a nice place, with a restaurant. Try the steak sandwich there, it was really good! Cab ride to NYMC is around 12 bucks from there.
