Hi everyone

I got the secondary for NYMC, and the whole application seems to be about letters of recommendation. My school has a comittee letter but they also send out individual letters - I guess its just a packet of information using virtual events or interfolio or something. Anyway, do I need to write my university's name under committee letter and leave the rest of it blank, or do I also need to submit the names of the individual people who recommended me?

Thanks a lot

From the NYMC Application Instructions:

If your college has a Premedical Advisory Committee, a Letter of Evaluation from the Committee is preferred and will fulfill all undergraduate requirements. A committee letter does not require the names of individual letter writers.

So even if they include copies of each letter that goes into their composite letter, you don't need to list them all.

But the website says "a" committee letter. Not letters put in a file...??

did you seriously start an entire thread on this? they answer your question specifically on the NYMC secondary page. read the first instructions at the very top of the secondary. it says click here for info on LORs. that site it tells you your answer.

I like this thread actually. I had the same question because my advisory committee sends out a packet, not a composite letter. So how do we handle it?
