NYMC vs Buffalo Jacobs

Please help I am so torn! I just want to know where I will get a better chance of matching well in either OBGYN or Peds. Any input is appreciated! I am very lucky that cost does not have to be a deciding factor.

NYMC

Pros:
- 30 min from family
- Better location
- good match results
- access to NYC hospitals (where I hope to do residency)

Cons:
- internal ranking (but is pass fail)
- not super great with research?


Buffalo

Pros:
- great research facilities
- got a good vibe from faculty during interview
- true pass fail
- good match results

Cons:
- 6 hours from family
- maybe too research focused/forced?

You forgot to include the cost difference between the schools. Are you in-state for UB? That can be a huge deciding factor. Would you live with your family if you went to NYMC?
