nymc waitlists a lot of people (in addition to accepting a ton of people) each year. the school also tends to accept a decent number of its waitlisted applicants. so, you still stand a fairly good chance. i was waitlisted last year but wasn't able to get in. although, i know of several sdn users who were in my shoes and ultimately did get in. in any case, i'd suggest that you send in updates (when necessary - not too often, though) and make sure the school understands that you're interested. you have a long wait ahead unfortunately - last year waitlist didn't start moving until early june. anyway, just try to stay patient and best of luck.
