Hi,
I feel this has been asked before, but I haven’t found an answer. So I graduated abroad and completed an advanced standing program in the states. I applied for NYS licensure and was informed that I’m missing 30 college credits. The student affairs office at my school here told us we can take CLEP exams to make up for the credits, but when I contacted the state board I was told that they must receive an official transcript from an accredited institution and they must be credit-bearing.
Anyone has gone through this process or knows how to navigate this? I thought CLEP exams provide college credits, but I’m not sure what to do once I take them and my school nor the state board wasnt able to tell me either
