There are no surveys on admit rates for students coming from post-bac programs, but consider: At N.Y.U., of 698 post-bacs who applied for the class entering in 2011, 24 were accepted a 3.4 percent admit rate. That compares with a 5.6 percent admit rate for those not from post-bac programs.
