I love my Mac laptop, and I am planning on taking it with me to NYU. I just bought Windows XP, and a program which will allow me to run XP.

Do you really need Windows at all? Or can I return all this expensive stuff?

Macintosh OS 10.4 or greater with the ability to run Windows. You must be able to boot into Windows for some programs in the 2nd year curriculum.

I think we need to install office for mac though

you must have a Intel based Mac (MacBook or MacBook Pro. an iBook or Powerbook won't work) If you have that, you can either run Windows through Parallels or VMWare Fusion as a virtual machine while in Mac OS X or you can run Windows as a separate partition using Boot Camp (Apple.com and available w/ Leopard in October). w/ boot camp, you have to reboot your machine to use Windows though
