NYU Anesthesia Residency

Hey Everyone - are there any NYU anesthesia residents or alumni out there who can shed some light on what this program looks for in their applicants? Step 1 & 2 score, research experience, away elective etc.

If you are sub-par applicant, how would you suggest strengthening your application?

Any input would be appreciated. I'm a 3rd year medical student.

From what I took away from my interview, they emphasize third year clerkship grades and away rotations there so you should hopefully be in good shape. Kill third year, step 2 and shine during your away rotation
