Honestly I am not sure how I got this interview, but I am very excited!!!!

From what last years SDN page says, NYU should release decisions on Dec 13th.

Does anyone know the likely hood of getting in if they attended candidate day already? It seemed like many people were getting waitlisted last year, but I could not tell if they completed candidate day yet or not.

You have to complete candidate day to be waitlisted and you have a better chance of getting in if ur candidate day is pre December

If you were waitlisted, it’s not over! Many people get off the waitlist next semester once they see how many students pay their deposit. Don’t forget to update your grades for the fall semester if taking any.

There will likely be more Candidate Day invites in January as well.
 
When do they start notifying people who have been moved off the waitlist to accepted?
 
From what I heard, the quality of dental education here isn't that great. Also, please consider the amount of debt given the high tuition.

Was brutal but mindset was that the school I committed to (and practically every other school) is cheaper by >$5000. Also not great still but only put down $1500 of the $5000 so far — they hide it somewhat but you're able to pay in two installments.

Hello . can someone explain what is going happen in the candidate day?
 
Are there any movements on the waitlist? It seems like the past two years they have sent acceptances around Feb 1st.
