Please kindly like this status if you had an interview and are still waiting to here back from the waitlist. Only like this status if you are going to commit once taken off the waitlist.

I am very close with admissions and want to communicate with them the numbers.

I want to say yes. Even schools like USC haven't completely filled up their classes yet.

I plan to give up my seat this week. Hopefully it goes to someone who are desperate.

Based on the historical data, they interview about 840 and give acceptances to 800 people. So if you are still on the waitlist, I bet you still have a chance. good luck to you all

No one but NYU admission knows

But if you ask me which may be wrong, they are done interviewing and I am sure their seats are filled. But there will be more waitlist movements as people like myself will give up seats as we get into another school.

im currently on the wl and sent my letter of intent last week. got a confirmation email saying they received it and put it on my file a couple days ago. should i email another letter of interest? intent? idk how admissions view multiple emails without being too redundant

The way I am able to email close to every other week for the past couple of months is by continuing to be active in your community and your endeavors. I updated them in regards to my shadowing hours, what I have learned at my time in the office, but also community service and events that I am organizing just so I can make sure to not only have something to talk about in my emails but to also make sure I am not lay around and waiting for the waitlist to move. Yes, it is frustrating and discouraging to see people on here still haven't gotten accepted but there is nothing you can do but be patient, doing things you enjoy, and last but not least to have faith in God and His plan for you.

I also withdrew my seat today. Historically NYU accepts 800 people out of 850 interviewed people. You all have a chance.

Someone asked me but if you look at the data, to fill in 380 people out of 3000 applicants, nyu gives acceptances to over 800 people. acceptance rate is over 27 percent each year which is the highest among us dental schools. dont lose hope

Good morning, how do you know? Are you part of admissions? Because they told me that I've been reaching out once a week and I need to take a breathe and relax. So I don't know who to listen too!

This doesn't only apply to you, I am giving advice to everyone who is waitlisted, some people feel that emailing and calling is bothersome, but I just want to reiterate that time is running out. Only 1 month left. Good luck to everyone.
