Is there reason for the big GPA incline for accepted students last year?

Dental school has gotten more competitive in the last 2 cycles.
Call me crazy, but I have a hunch this trend reverses because of the changes in federal student loans…

I think it’s more grade inflation. If DAT scores remain with a 20-22 average and they have 3.7-4.0 averages I have to believe that there is some grade inflation going on

Congrats! Whats the earliest date for interview? I'll add that to the tracker

With the BBB just being passed, I just don’t see the rationale behind applying to NYU for Dental School. There are so many more affordable dental schools that are far more superior to NYU.

It didn’t make sense even before the bill was passed.

If it’s the only school someone gets into , then most will go. I also don’t think most people realize how expensive NY is. As a NY’er we are just accustomed to everything being more expensive . My daughter lives in a 1 bedroom apt and the rent is $4700 and she is 24 . It more than some peoples mortgage
